Coin Toss for Apple Watch

Coin Toss is a coin you keep on your wrist. Tap anywhere on the screen and it throws, tumbles, lands and shows you heads or tails.

Using the app

Tossing the coin

Tap anywhere on the screen — you don't need to hit the coin itself. The coin is thrown, spins through the air, lands and settles. The result appears the moment it touches down.

Changing the coin

Tap the gear in the top-right corner. There are eight coins: US Cent, Rupee and Five Pounds are photographs of real currency, and Classic, Quarter, Doubloon, Bitcoin and Jade are drawn. Your choice is remembered.

Why did it pick this coin to start with?

Coin Toss opens on the coin that matches your region — the US Cent in the United States, the Rupee in India, Five Pounds in the United Kingdom. Anywhere else starts on the plain heads-and-tails coin. You can change it at any time.

Turning the sound off

Gear icon → Sound. Haptic feedback stays on either way. The app uses the ambient audio category, so a toss will never interrupt music or a podcast, and stays quiet when your watch is muted.

Resetting the tally

Tap the circular arrow next to the heads and tails counts. The tally is not saved between launches — closing the app clears it.

Common questions

Is the coin actually fair?

Yes. Each toss is an independent 50/50 draw from the system random number generator. Nothing about your streak, the coin you picked, or your past results changes the odds. The source is public if you'd like to check: CoinFlipper.swift.

Does it need my iPhone?

No. Coin Toss runs entirely on the watch and works with no phone nearby and no internet connection.

Does it collect any data?

No. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no network requests at all. See the privacy policy.

Does it work with VoiceOver?

Yes. The coin, the result, the tally and every control are labelled. The tally is spoken as a single summary that includes your current streak.
